Morecambe Town Council awards £4000 grant to Spray

Morecambe Town Council have awarded us a grant of £4000 for Spray. The grant will be used to help us fund a new mooring at Morecambe, buy essential safety equipment and fund the ongoing restoration of Spray

In 1900s there was a fleet of around 100 prawners at Morecambe. Fishing is an important part of the town's history. The town's coat of arms features a Morecambe Bay Prawner.

We plan to moor Spray at Morecambe from Spring 2026 onwards.
