Spray arrives at her new home

It was a wintery welcome for Spray, and a long, cold wait for the welcoming party at Glasson Dock. But after much manoeuvring, Spray was hoisted from the back of Sealand's articulated lorry and propped up on the hard.

It was then 'children in the sweetshop' time as members of the trust clambered aboard for a first look around on deck. There was just enough time left in the day to rig up a temporary cover over the old girl's cabin to keep the rain out, before retiring for a warm in a local hostelry.
